Coil upwards or down your category list.

Also bank check the Aid documents for your application.

The Login Name is a system variable and it is the user name that the user logged on to the system under. Changing this value dynamically would require a logoff past the user and a login under another proper name available to the system. This could also alter many of the user'south rights to access applications, drives, and other system resources. You tin can just alter the user'south name which tin then be used for commenting.

This is a system parameter that records the log-in name of the person logging on to the computer using the security organisation of the calculator. Consider the havoc that could occur if one changes this on the fly without respecting the systems security. All you trusted network connections would be invalid.

To change the writer name of comments:

one. Open the awarding preferences, "File => Preferences".
two. Select "Commenting" category.
three. Remove check mark next to "Always the states log-in name for Writer".
4. Create a annotate.
5. Right mouse click and select "Properties" option.
6. On "General" tab modify "Author" every bit needed.
7.Click "Ok" to use the modify.
8. Right mouse click on modified comment.
9. Select "Make current backdrop default".

Hello George,

Unfortunately, this didn't piece of work. Outset, the Preferences are under the Edit menu in my version (not the File menu), but more than importantly, there is no "Commenting" category in the Preferences dialogue box. I've searched in all of the categories that are in that location, from 3D to Identity to Startup to Updates and cannot find annihilation that I can uncheck that seems even similar to "E'er utilise log-in proper name for Author".

I accept looked through the Help files and I'yard still coming upwardly empty.

If you have any other thoughts, I'd dearest to hear them.

Thanks,

Jill

In Acrobat ix;

In Acrobat 9;

I run across what you mean, but that only isn't there in my Adobe Reader 7.0. The Categories beginning at 3D and finish at Updates. That top section, shown in the image to a higher place, isn't showing in my version. Is there a manner to turn that on?
